A tiny country at the height of cleanliness and a playground for expats. Everything just works. Tubes, taxis and the airport are something else. Everything is highly systematic, prostitutes get a monthly check up, you are fined for spitting in the street, chewing gum is illegal and they are the only country attempting to systematically wipe out the mosquito. Not sure what else there is to say about Singapore, not a great travellers destination as there is no character, history or exploring to do, but a great place to live on an expat contract bringing up children. It could not be safer and you have a excellent location to explore the rest of Asia. With the three seasons of Hot, Hotter and Hottest it’s hard to be down beat about such a place.
